Date: 01.04.2011

The International Search and Rescue (ISAR) team provided crucial support and aid to the rescue mission in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The 2011 Christchurch earthquake was 6.3-magnitude that struck the Canterbury region in New Zealand's South Island at 12:51 on 22nd February 2011, local time, causing widespread damage and multiple fatalities, with the final death toll expected to be 182.

The Hughes Emergency Response Shelters were used as a central command centre, which the photographs below illustrate. Our manufacturing expertise provides a hospitable environment for the ISAR team. We will now discuss requirements and gather feedback as we look to continuously develop and improve our product range.
